APRIL 11- ​Let’s get fired up, for spring!​  Mo Henning, a Miami University graduate, is a retired biology teacher, amateur naturalist, and nature photographer.

Mo Henning's friendEnjoy a photographic tour of some of our favorite places and their living fauna and flora. This is a great time to see spring ephemerals, tune up for returning migrants, and see several of the less conspicuous creatures that live in the Ohio Valley. Mo Henning will share with us his nature photography with us as well as where and how to capture outstanding images.

His recognitions include Biology Teacher of the Year in 2003, Sigma Xi Award for promoting student research in 2004 and an Outstanding Educator at Good Samaritan College of Nursing award in 2011. He earned a BA in Zoology and a MS in Secondary Science Education from Miami University. He first fell in love with field work while taking Dendrology from Dr. Hardy Eshbaugh and Vertebrate Zoology from Dr. Paul Daniel. He has been photographing in Greater Cincinnati for over 45 years and presently lives in Wyoming, Ohio. Mo has been a featured Artist at Eagle Creek Park in Indianapolis, Indiana and has several pieces on display at Good Samaritan College and Wyoming Wines. Wendy Burt, also a retired biology teacher, is Mo’s “spotter” and enjoys being in the field searching for potential subjects.

Chapter Meetings are held the second Monday of the indicated months in the 2nd floor Community Room, Lebanon Citizens National Bank building, 30 Park Place West at 7:30 PM in uptown Oxford unless otherwise noted (n.b.). All meetings are open to the public.
